1. Junior Research Consultant

Objective: Collect and analyze information about prospective candidates, and/or clients in order to complete
search process according to our clients’ specifications and guidelines and those set forth by the Associate and
Partners.
Job specification:
Supporting the search consultants in the execution of search engagements. This includes creating search
engagement strategies necessary to identify outstanding candidates and then executing the candidate
identification and profiling processes through a variety of primary and secondary sources.
The Research Associate will participate in client calls and meetings and provide materials including target
company lists, comprehensive market maps and potential candidate profiles.
Participating in candidate development. When appropriate, the Research Associate will source knowledgeable
industry sources and, over time, manage candidates through the search process, including candidate
approaches and referencing.
Preparing materials for new business meeting and presentations. These may include information on relevant
search assignments, target market and company lists, market intelligence, and potential candidate profiles
Tracking industry developments, including information on clients and target companies, to develop a personal
knowledge base and to share with the sector as a whole. The Research Associate will leverage internal and
external resources to become well-versed in the practice s/he participates in and share that knowledge
globally within the firm. S/he will also undertake special practice-related projects as needed.

2. Experience/education:
An academic/university degree preferred in the field of economics, law or human resources;
1 to 3 years work experience (also internships included).
The successful candidate will be bright, self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a drive for Excellence. S/he will
have a team player orientation and a high sense of urgency and energy. This individual will be curious, possessing a
keen desire to learn and absorb new information, thrive on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and have the
persistence and capacity to manage multiple activities to completion
