Who are we and what do we do? Peer Group is a consulting business focused on communication in the workplace. Our clients are predominantly commercial organisations – national, international and global, in a variety of industry sectors . Our team of researchers, project managers & consultants are based in the UK, US and China. Our projects range from short and simple research exercises to 18-month marathons where the challenge is usually to identify, articulate , communicate and then ensure delivery of, an organisation’s employer value proposition to a range of audiences. It’s stimulating, intellectually demanding and typically fast-paced. The outputs include communications programmes aimed at employees, target candidates and their influencers; what we discover and articulate drives the creative brief , marketing strategy, channel plan. We enable our clients to bring the employer brand to life and deliver the Employer Value Proposition at every stage in the employee life cycle.

Who are we looking for? This is a pretty good summary of your profile: <ul><li>You graduated with a 2.i or higher from a top 30 university at least 12 years ago </li></ul><ul><li>You did a research-oriented degree that demanded strong analysis skills – eg: English; Philosophy; Geography; Politics; Social Anthropology; International Studies </li></ul><ul><li>Since then, you have maintained your on-going professional development </li></ul><ul><li>You have the right to work in the UK – indefinitely </li></ul><ul><li>English is probably your first language – you speak and write fluently </li></ul><ul><li>You have a strong interest in current affairs, and an in-depth understanding of global trends, issues and challenges </li></ul><ul><li>Your research & analytical skills are excellent </li></ul><ul><li>Strong writing skills are evident in your research analysis, reports and presentations </li></ul>
And we’d also like you to demonstrate… <ul><li>Relevant work experience – in a research, employment communications, branding and/or HR environment; a combination would be ideal </li></ul><ul><li>Client facing skills – being able to build and sustain strong relationships is absolutely essential . Demonstrating credibility and inspiring confidence are also key. </li></ul><ul><li>Fluency in at another language – preferably German, Spanish, Russian or Mandarin </li></ul><ul><li>Cultural insight (have you worked in another country?) </li></ul><ul><li>An intelligent awareness of global, international and national employers </li></ul><ul><li>Comprehension of different employment sectors – and the employment challenges facing them </li></ul><ul><li>A high level of curiosity, innovative thinking and loads of initiative </li></ul><ul><li>Understanding (and hands-on experience) of research methodologies </li></ul>

Around 40 minutes long, it may lead to: </li></ul><ul><li>An assessment comprising competency-based interview, psychometric s, a short presentation from you to the Peer Group team and an interview with the Chief Exec of ThirtyThree. This will happen on the same day (c 2.5 hours) at our office in Clerkenwell. </li></ul><ul><li>Final interview with me and another senior member of the Peer Group team, also in Clerkenwell. (NB: We anticipate no more than two candidates at this point.) </li></ul>
