Background
Al is a Manager in KPMG’s Trade and Customs Practice. She has over twenty
years of experience in leading customer SAP implementations for order-to-
cash, supply chain and global trade activities for Fortune 500 companies mainly
in the chemical, pharmaceutical and defense and aerospace industry. Her
focus is on analyzing and improving current system and business processes,
based on best practices. She possesses a wealth of experiences to draw upon
to aid in the construction and deployment of any solution, and holds a proven
track record in designing and implementing complex business solutions. She is
committed to customers to build solid system and business processes.
Professional and Industry Experience
Al’s primary focus at KPMG is to assist her clients in assessing their global
trade business requirements and using technology to implement effective
solutions to support their business and work processes.
Al has over nine years of experience in SAP GTS in all modules (Compliance
Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management). Examples of
her experience include:
• Modeling dual use, military and drug precursor export and import
regulations for US, EU, JP, KR, CN
• Implementing special customs procedures such as bonded warehouse,
inward processing relief, and temporary admission for UK
• Implementing free trade agreements for US (NAFTA), EU and
Switzerland
• Implementing electronic customs declarations, such as US-AES, UK-
CHIEF, US-ABI
Al is also a subject matter expert in SAP ECC Sales and Distribution (SD),
Materials Management (MM) and Foreign Trade (FT) modules, and is a
member of ASUG.
