Black Sigatoka mRNA vaccines from Agro-K Philippines Corporation cost only fifty percent of the cost of Fungicides that are used currently, saving money for the grower, saving the environment and the worker's health. Will this vaccine answer the age old problem of the environmental impact of the pesticides? Yes since the pesticides are now not needed we can stop using this large amounts of pesticides thus saving the environment, health of the workers and the cost to the grower of keeping the banana leaves clean without any Chemical Pesticides. #environment #organicfertilizer #netcarbonzero #mRNAvaccine #environmentallyfriendly #organicfarming #salesmarketing #importexportbusiness
3. Nutritionally Induced Resistance
(NIR)
- mother(MA)–injection(JECT)
Replacement for ground applied
potash
Slow release and steady source of
potassium
More efficient way of feeding
bananas,
as it maximizes the natural process
of
translocation from mother to
daughter
NIR MAJECT banana spikes
3 4
NIR MAJECT banana spikes
The harvested “caballo” or the
pseudostem will supply 40% of the
NPK requirement for the daughter.
Spike technology will supplement
the balance of 60%
About 80% of the ground applied
Phosphorus and Potash is fixed in
the
soil leaving only 20% available
for the
plant
Spike, on the other hand, is 100%
absorbed and is immediately
available
for the growing sucker
Only way to apply potassium in
banana
during extremely wet and dry season

Three spikes (3 ) are applied to the
harvested mother right after harvest
Application is assisted with an axe to
open the pseudostem tissue
The spikes are inserted into the
harvested mother at the side in front of
the growing follower

Application of spike Benefits of spike
TRIAL IN DALLAG
Farm background:
- High potassium and calcium content as per soil
analysis
- Tissue analysis showed low potassium level in the
leaves as potassium is fixed and uptake through the
roots is hindered
- Current practice is application of high level of
MOP: about 1800 kg per ha year
Field Trial:
- Spikes tested in a 10-Ha semi commercial trial
- Three spikes into the harvested mother and 50% of
the
recommended MOP on the ground were applied .
- Two spikes were applied right after harvest and
then the third spike was inserted one month before
shooting.

TRIAL IN PADADA
Benefits of spike
Farm background:
Normal soil condition, no problem in soil K
Field Trial:
Mats were treated with three (3 ) spikes
after
harvest and MOP was 100% eliminated
Second generation with spikes-
Padada
Good bunch size
Good plant growth
Faster ratooning
Benefits of spike
11. TRIAL IN COMPOSTELA
Treatments used:
T1- 3 Spikes plus Symbex 4x
No MOP on the ground
T2- 100% MOP on the ground plus 3 spikes
T3- Ground MOP and no spikes
Note: Treated mats received SOP’s on
Urea, Sigatoka control, and soil
amendments
Benefits of spike

No Choking,
Good suckers
Treatments used:
3 Spikes plus Symbex 4x

17. - The area was chopped down due to NFL (No
Functional Leaves) and small bunches (usually
3-5
hands).
- Very high in Calcium, thus low Potassium
uptake
through the roots
- Recommendation: chopped down, then applied

24. Cost Analysis Cost Analysis
COST ANALYSIS and process of
eliminating MOP on the ground
USING GROUND APPLIED MOP
On the average recommended
ground-applied K is 600/kg/year.
Using MOP as source of K= 1000
kg/Ha/year.
At a price of USD 0.73 per kg.
Conventional cost of applying MOP on
the soil is USD 733.33 per Ha per
year, of which USD 586-worth of
potash is fixed or only USD 146- worth
of potash is absorbed!
Agro K recommends using:
3 Spikes per harvested plant
To this we add:
3 applications of Symbex a year
2 NIR Booster injections to follower
25. - Nirmaject Potassium Spikes is an
excellent source of Potassium as it
maximizes the natural translocation
between mother to daughter.
- 100% absorbed by the plant as no waste
due to runoffs is involved
- It is loaded not only with MOP, but with the
NIR Booster, which helps in improving
bunch weight (3-7 kg)
- Gives additional one hand.
- Saves labor cost as it can be ride on the
harvest team, so there will be no missed out
in application
- Lessen the problem of stolen fertilizers as
the product is intended for bananas
- Slow release and steady source of
potassium
- Will SAVE at least USD 250 per ha of the
standard Potassium fertilizer
