2. What is ThunderBird?
ThunderBird is an IoT (Internet ofThings) device which provides
instant services to customers by just the press of a button - an
innovation not yet implemented or owned by any company in
Pakistan.
3. What does it do in our project?
ThunderBird solves the commute issues people who stay at
hotels deal with - their need to run their errands, to shop or to
simply go back and from the hotel gets difficult to manage with
their busy lifestyles.

This button is basically connection between cab services and
people staying at hotels.
It basically is collaborated and integrated with any of these services
which will provide you with the commute or the ride during your
stay.
5. How? (User side)
With this device, just press the button on your wall once, and get
a cab for yourself.
Press this button twice - get a call, tell us whatever you want to
get done, and we get it done.
We stay with you till your tasks are complete.

How? (Technical side)
Number 1 successful scenario:
1. This device is mounted on a wall in your room where it is easily
accessible.
2. The details you give to the hotel before booking a room, are saved in
this device when you check-in.
3. User presses button to get cab.
4. Your details are sent to nearby cabs around the hotel.
5. One of the cabs accept.
6. The buzzer in the device rings and your cab is on your service.

Number 2 successful scenario:
1. This device is mounted on a wall in your room where it is easily accessible.
2. The details you give to the hotel (which include your room number and your
mobile number) before booking a room, are saved in this device when you
check-in.
3. User presses button twice to get work done from a nearby cab driver.
4. Your details are sent to nearby cabs around the hotel.
5. One of the cabs accept and are informed to call you through their
application.
6. The driver calls you on either numbers available till you answer.
8. Specifications
This project consist of an IoT device which includes a buzzer,
a small LED light (which indicates feedback on press), and a
button to press.
It is a hardware + software integration which involves
collaboration with an already existing cab service and a hotel
running in Pakistan.
9. Future plans
We plan to have partnership with a cab service in Pakistan and
introduce this product to a hotel which looks for innovation and
convenience for their guests.
This markets the cab service to the people, especially the
foreigners who will be impressed by the new technological
advancements in our country.This also attracts more people to
stay in a hotel which hasThunderBird in its rooms, for a
convenient, hassle-free stay.
