Royal Mines of Zacualpan – Prolific Mining History

The Royal Mines of Zacualpan is one of the
oldest mining districts in the Americas, with
485 years of recorded mining history

IMPACT bought the Zacualpan assets in
2006 and consolidated ownership of the
entire district for the first time in its history

IMPACT’s intensive exploration work has
catalogued over 3,000 old mine workings in
the GIS database, forming an invaluable
basis for modern and effective exploration
One of 42 historic processing plants found in the
district attesting to a long history of silver mining

One Land Package, Multiple Mines

San Ramon Mine – Restarted production in early 2008. Currently 50% of total
production. Large veins and stockworks of high grade epithermal mineralization.

Noche Buena Mine – Commenced production in 2010. Currently 25% of total
production. Large epithermal veins located in the Valle de Oro area.

Gallega Mine – Currently 13% of total production. Production was restarted in late
2012 to augment the declining silver grades at the Chivo Mine; will continue to supply
modest silver-rich feed to the mill until the Cuchara-Oscar Mine is in production.

Chivo Mine - Started high grade silver production in 2007. Now mainly mined for
lead and zinc as high grade silver production transitions to new Cuchara-Oscar Mine.

Cuchara-Oscar Mine – Corridor of many wide and high-grade silver veins linking
the legacy Cuchara Mine and the Santa Lucia zone. Scheduled to commence
            production in Q1 2013.

Capire Mine – Open-pit, VMS deposit with high grade polymetallic mineralization.
Construction and pre-stripping for the open-pit is advancing with the initial test milling
            in early 2013.
Valle de Oro – Current exploration area. Widespread mesothermal veins indicate
potential gold-copper subdistrict lying beneath the Zacualpan Silver District. Initial high
10 grade drill results at the Carlos Pacheco and Huatecosco veins.
New Mine Under Construction: Cuchara-Oscar Mine

Oscar is a high-grade silver vein
     corridor linking the past-producing
     Cuchara Mine and the Santa
     Lucia zone

     Production at Cuchara-Oscar is
     scheduled for Q1 2013, with
     mineralization planned to feed the
     nearby Guadalupe Mill

     Utilizing the legacy Cuchara Mine
     infrastructure allows for lower
     capital costs and rapid mine
     development at Oscar

Capire Mine is an open-pit VMS deposit with NI New underground high grade Cuchara-Oscar 43-101 measured and indicated resources of Mine is scheduled for production in early 2013 7.2M oz Ag and 30,446 oz Au (January, 2011) Guadalupe Mill - 500 TPD crushing and flotation circuit Capire Pilot Plant - 200 TPD crushing and flotation circuit 9
  • 11. One Land Package, Multiple Mines San Ramon Mine – Restarted production in early 2008. Currently 50% of total production. Large veins and stockworks of high grade epithermal mineralization. Noche Buena Mine – Commenced production in 2010. Currently 25% of total production. Large epithermal veins located in the Valle de Oro area. Gallega Mine – Currently 13% of total production. Production was restarted in late 2012 to augment the declining silver grades at the Chivo Mine; will continue to supply modest silver-rich feed to the mill until the Cuchara-Oscar Mine is in production. Chivo Mine - Started high grade silver production in 2007. Now mainly mined for lead and zinc as high grade silver production transitions to new Cuchara-Oscar Mine. Cuchara-Oscar Mine – Corridor of many wide and high-grade silver veins linking the legacy Cuchara Mine and the Santa Lucia zone. Scheduled to commence production in Q1 2013. Capire Mine – Open-pit, VMS deposit with high grade polymetallic mineralization. Construction and pre-stripping for the open-pit is advancing with the initial test milling in early 2013. Valle de Oro – Current exploration area. Widespread mesothermal veins indicate potential gold-copper subdistrict lying beneath the Zacualpan Silver District. Initial high 10 grade drill results at the Carlos Pacheco and Huatecosco veins.
  • 12. New Mine Under Construction: Cuchara-Oscar Mine Oscar is a high-grade silver vein corridor linking the past-producing Cuchara Mine and the Santa Lucia zone Production at Cuchara-Oscar is scheduled for Q1 2013, with mineralization planned to feed the nearby Guadalupe Mill Utilizing the legacy Cuchara Mine infrastructure allows for lower capital costs and rapid mine development at Oscar 11
