Hackademics is a multinational
organization that hosts programming
competitions and seeks to bring together
talented developers from across the Asia-
region to build software that can improve
education. Development teams compete
to win prizes by impressing a panel of
judges who are industry leaders in
education, technology, and venture capital.

Hackademics will host a 32-hour hackathon in Hong Kong and Tokyo tentatively set on
March19-20th or April 23-24th

Organization Scope Hackademics is a multinational organization that hosts programming competitions focusing on education and cloud technology as themes Previous event highlights  104 attendees/participants  32 development teams  21 volunteers  Japan, Vietnam  8 EdTech judges from venture capital, start-ups, and academia Next event’s goals  200+ attendees/participants  50+ development teams  40+ volunteers  Hong Kong and Japan simultaneously  12+ EdTech judges from venture capital, start-ups, and academia This year we will give out 25 Oculus Rifts!
