10. Conclusion
The six months of my Industrial Training afforded me a good opportunity to learn
a lot about library routines and how the library is being managed. It enhanced my
practical knowledge of librarianship as well as information science which I
acquired theoretically in University of Benin. During my training I was exposed to
all the routines in various sections of the library using all the necessary tools. I
now have a good knowledge in the area of classifying and cataloguing of books
which is the sole of librarianship. Also I also now have acquired the knowledge on
how to make use of the electronic devices in the library as the library keeps
evolving to make information seeking easier for the library users.
