The New Engagement Site is a SharePoint collaboration site which will be used by
auditor to enter/view the engagement data. This is the new version and completely
redesign of Engagement site 2007. The engagement data is being shared with the
group auditor(s) and the audit teams via the InfoPath documents (reports), filled by
the engagement team.
Some key features of the architecture are:
• Structure: Site Definition
• Design Pattern : MVP
Regardless of the old version the new engagement site have lot of custom new
functionalities.

This collaboration site includes Base site and sub sites architecture constructed
using Site definition, Site Content Types, InfoPath forms, workflows, custom web

forms are published into the central admin as a WSP using the PowerShell script
and using a feature the reports are moved to the top level site collection (Base
site) as Site Content Types and their XMLs are being used in the sub sites. After
Engagement team enters the data, the management team will use the custom
developed web parts to review the entered data.
The New engagement site have many additional features compared to Old and
they are
• Sites are created using site definitions
• There are 9 types of users accessing the site with different permission
levels.
• The item level permission is set to all the users.
• The reports and the deployment are automated.

engagement team will get a sub-site and will enter the engagement data into the
InfoPath forms. These InfoPath forms are published into the site collection as Site
Content Types and their XMLs are being used in the sub sites. After Engagement
team will enter the data, the management team will use the custom developed web
parts to review the entered data.
Reminder workflows will keep track of the deadlines and will notify the engagement
team with the deadlines. Document libraries will store all the InfoPath forms, XML
forms and the Site Content Types. Custom developed web parts include
Dashboard to monitor the status of each report in each business workflow similarly
the Reporting Analysis Custom Developed web part will be used to monitor the
individual detail of the reports for each workflow.
• Engagement Site 2010 was a pilot site with much manual functionalities with
InfoPath forms.
• Engagement Site 2011 automated whole functionalities of Engagement site
with various custom web parts, workflows, Event handlers this site supported
browser enabled InfoPath Forms.
• Engagement Site 2012 is of performance enhancement for Engagement site
2011 including Microsoft Code review process.
Engagement Site 2013 is of performance enhancement for Engagement site 2013
including Microsoft Code review process and some additional requirements.

Description
The Client Portal Application is an EFG initiative that will deliver a centralized
online portal for all clients, bringing together all the resources and information they
need to transact business with the Company under one site and adding new self-
service features to benefit users. This client portal will be a one-stop-shop for
accessing EFG and third party portals and information about the client’s business
with EFG, as well as conducting simple self-service transactions.
The secure, online platform will store essential client information related to
products, production, billing, reinsurance, claims, account changes, and account-
specific details etc. It will also become a user-friendly method for handling reports,
online claims and cancellation quotes. This portal will put EFG on par with other
competitors who have offered similar client access for years.
Information managed by individual departments will be up loadable
automatically or by selected EFG stakeholders. User permissions will be
structured to allow users in various roles and levels to access information
and features in the portal that are relevant to their functions. The
implementation will be phased in as self-service, interactive features
become available, including cancellation quotes, claims.

Description The Engagement Site is a SharePoint collaboration site which will be used by auditor to enter/view the engagement data. The engagement data is being shared with the group auditor(s) and the audit teams via the InfoPath documents (reports), filled by the engagement team. Some key features of the architecture are: • Structure: Site/Sub-Site approach. • Speed and Flexibility: Making the Engagement Site configurable. This collaboration site includes sub-sites, Site Content Types, InfoPath forms, workflows, custom web parts, Site Columns, lists and document libraries. The engagement team will get a sub-site and will enter the engagement data into the InfoPath forms. These InfoPath forms are published into the site collection as Site Content Types and their XMLs are being used in the sub sites. After Engagement team will enter the data, the management team will use the custom developed web parts to review the entered data. Reminder workflows will keep track of the deadlines and will notify the engagement team with the deadlines. Document libraries will store all the InfoPath forms, XML forms and the Site Content Types. Custom developed web parts include Dashboard to monitor the status of each report in each business workflow similarly the Reporting Analysis Custom Developed web part will be used to monitor the individual detail of the reports for each workflow. • Engagement Site 2010 was a pilot site with much manual functionalities with InfoPath forms. • Engagement Site 2011 automated whole functionalities of Engagement site with various custom web parts, workflows, Event handlers this site supported browser enabled InfoPath Forms. • Engagement Site 2012 is of performance enhancement for Engagement site 2011 including Microsoft Code review process. Engagement Site 2013 is of performance enhancement for Engagement site 2013 including Microsoft Code review process and some additional requirements. This client portal will be a one-stop-shop for accessing EFG and third party portals and information about the client’s business with EFG, as well as conducting simple self-service transactions. The secure, online platform will store essential client information related to products, production, billing, reinsurance, claims, account changes, and account- specific details etc. It will also become a user-friendly method for handling reports, online claims and cancellation quotes. This portal will put EFG on par with other competitors who have offered similar client access for years. Information managed by individual departments will be up loadable automatically or by selected EFG stakeholders. User permissions will be structured to allow users in various roles and levels to access information and features in the portal that are relevant to their functions. The implementation will be phased in as self-service, interactive features become available, including cancellation quotes, claims.
