In spinning, ring frame is a machine that
converts roving into yarn. The main component
of ring frame machines are creel – drafting
zone – spindle – ring – traveler; it has certain
numbers of spindles per machine, and each
spindle is a production center.

It is the machine by which yarn is manufactured at required specification for specific purposes. The ring spinning
machine was invented in the year 1828 by the American throat. Between 1860 and at the end of the nineteenth century
were a period of intense development of different types and shapes of ring and traveler.

• To draft the roving up to the required level according to the yarn count to
be spun.
• To insert the required amount of twist to the fibers strand to fiber fibers
together in the yarn a revent the fibers slippage in the yarn too.
• To wind the yarn onto the ring bobbin simultaneously during spinning.

synthetic material etcetera get spun successfully and efficiently.

1.Process stages are more numerous. Roving stage exists as an extra process
compared to the other systems.
2. Yarn breakages are more numerous as a result of ring traveler friction and yarn
air friction. Interruptions, broken ends, and piecing-up problems exist because of
the yarn breakages
3. The fibers get ruptured due to the high speed of the traveler.
4. The package obtained in ring frame process has very low content on it.
