1. Master plan for Natore Paurashava (2010-2030)
Structure Plan, Urban Area Plan and Ward Action Plan
Preparation of Master Plan for Natore Paurashava is a great initiative for
District Towns Infrastructure Development Project (DTIDP) under Local
Government Engineering Department. This Master plan will serve as a
guideline for the future infrastructure development of Natore Paurashava
together with land use control, effective management of the services
facilities. This will also ensure planned physical, social and economic
development of Natore Paurashava. The Master Plan comprises of three
stages and tires in a hierarchical order. These are:
i. Structure Plan for 20 years
ii. Urban Area Plan for 10-15 years
iii. Ward Action Plan for 5 years
For the preparation of Master Plan LGED engaged consulting firm Sheltech
(Pvt.) Ltd. For the Preparation of Master Plan, the Consultants have
completed the most essential tasks such as consultation with the
Paurashava & different stake-holders at different stages, collection of all
mouza maps, digitization of maps, demarcation of Paura boundary, different
types of Engineering Surveys, Socio-economic, Traffic & Transport studies,
formal public hearing, final consultation with the Paurashava and stake-
holders. The entire works for the preparation of Master Plan have been
completed through participatory planning approach with the Paurashava and
related stake-holders.
