Project 1:
“Punjab Cities GovernanceImprovement Project(World Bank Funded)
PCGIP aims to improve urban management; remove Impediments at the operational and structural levels;and plug
any gaps that might existin terms of Monitoring and control mechanisms required for transparentand streamlined
operations atthe city level. The urban agenda has supported several critical reforms,and the Govt of Punjab now
seeks to foster results,especially atthe city level.”
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation, evaluation, recommendation and review of Environmental Management Plan, Initial
Environmental Examination and Environmental ImpactAssessment Reports .
2. Field surveys for community mobilization, screening of schemes for environmental and social impacts
regardingtheapproved Categorization by W.B and data collection regardingthese schemes.
3. Assistingin assessmentof social and environmental issues and implementation of ESMF.
4. Trainingand event management of environmental and social safeguard.
5. Co-ordinate to prepare the trainingmaterial,environmental and social issues in urban development.
Project 2:
Gender Management Information System (DAI Funded),
GMIS aims to identify the areas from within the gender related policies and implementation process requiring
interventions and develop a systematic and centralized GIS data baserelated to women for analysis,advocacy,
policy and decision making to assistpolicy makers and implementing agencies for further design such policies that
will enablethe women to change their status and perform more actively.
Responsibilities:
1. Collection of women related data from all the departments in order to develop systematic women
information source.
2. Promote the mainstreamingof gender issues atall stages of the projectcycle.
3. Collaborate with Government Departments and NGOs to ensure the validity of data collection on gender
issues.
4. Participate in Working Groups to ensure that projects documents prepared by the Department adequately
address gender issues.
5. Ensure that women are consulted and enhance the level of gender analysisof program/project.
6. Liaise with key gender-related NGOs, multilateral organizations and national institutions in countries served
by the Country Departments for purposes of information-sharing, networking and operational
collaboration.

2. Project 3:
Punjab Saaf Pani Project,
The Project is to install water Filtration Plants either Reverse Osmosis or UV in all 36 Districts of Punjab to provide
safedrinkingwater to community livingin rural and semi-rural areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support to Punjab Saaf Company in terms of data entry and analysis of different parameters
(TDS, Fluoride,Arsenic,Nitrate) for contamination mapping.
2. Assistin identification of Priority districts for installation of filtration plants.
3. Make arrangements for BOD meeting, trainingprograms for the communities and stake holders.
4. Maintain close contact with Government officials, local leaders, NGOs managers and international
agencies.
5. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the CEO.
Project 4:
The Riverfront Urban Development Project (LDA),
The project entails high quality residential,institutional,commercial and recreational zones on the western margin
of Lahore, Pakistan’s second largestcity.The project area contains approximately 50,000 hectares of land alonga 36
km longstretch on either sideof the river Ravi.
Responsibilities:
1. Assistin baselineassessments of different environmental / physical characteristics,existinggeological,
hydrological, topographic conditions,meteorological and climatological conditions,water resources,flood
projections,biodiversity,solid waste,water supply and sanitation,transportation networks / vehicular as
well as non vehicular traffic etc.
