Qualifications in Brief
After graduating from Delaware Military Academy (DMA) I worked
hard and put myself through college and recently graduated with
an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education. I finished the
2015 semester with a 3.27 GPA and an overall college GPA of
2.45. A list of college classes I have taken is given at the bottom
of my resume. I have very good writing, organization, and
Microsoft software skills. Now that I have graduated I’m looking
for a full time position preferably in the education field. I also
have a lot of experience in the business world as well. I have
worked for many years not only in customer service but also as a
member of a corporate team. I have worked at jobs that were
both physically and mentally challenging. I am a goal oriented
individual and I know I can become a valued employee for any
company.

I have recently been employed at the Acme Markets store on
limestone road in Pike Creek and have since worked as a shelf
stocker in multiple departments of the store. I’m only working
part time but my shifts have been over 7 hours. I already have job
experience working longer hours and with a lot of people so the
job as well as customer service comes natural to me. I’m
currently doing really well.

2. First Choice Cleaning Empl:2009 - 2015

Over the years I have become an integral team member at First
Choice. My duties and responsibilities have grown along with my
pay. My duties have included general cleaning and maintenance,
inventory organization, supply delivery, and paycheck delivery.
They have called me in on different shifts and sent me to
different locations over the years. As time went on I have
become one of their most reliable and hardworking employees.
United Postal Service (UPS) Empl: 2008 for 6 months (seasonal)
Delivery Team/ Driver’s Assistant
I worked at UPS as a team member of a delivery truck. We would
gather our parcels via a barcode gun and computer system. Then
we’d pack the truck, double check our work and start our
designated route. We needed to be precise because time is
money and there was no going back for missed parcels. I enjoyed
the teamwork and meeting customers along our route.

This catering business was owned and operated by my father
and my duties were vast. I learned all aspects of running a
catering business too include inventory, cooking, buffet setup,
sales, pig roasting, and most important customer service. Our
catering included business, residential, and private events.
Working closely with my dad was rewarding but also very tuff at
times. He expected me to excel and improve on every event we
worked.

Delaware Technical College – (class of 2015) Associates degree
in Elementary Education. (GPA – 2.45/ 2015 GPA-3.27) My courses
in college included but not limited to General Psychology, Child
Development, Parent/ Teacher Interactions, Classroom
Management, Counseling, Oral Communications, Composition
and research, Computers and applications, Children’s literature,
Exceptional Child, Physics, Biology, Math for teachers 1, 2 and 3,
25 hours of classroom observation and school interactions in
addition to other relevant coursework.
