– Problems with current carrier ratings on the SMS
– Recent Industry letter to Secretary Foxx to remove the
scores from public view
– FMCSA now using “focused reviews” instead of full
“compliance reviews” – thus do not issue ratings
• SFD Delayed Pending Outcome of Reviews
– Uncertain timeline for this rule – continues to slip
– Issues for Brokers and Shippers - unknown if any
action to be taken on HR4727
