I will teach you nouns. Nouns looks like an easy chapter but
there are several types of nouns that are hard to remember

5. What is a Noun
A noun is a part of speech that is the
name of a place, person, animal, or
thing. Examples are the Taj Mahal,
Albert Einstein, books, Ipad, Tiger, etc.
6. Types of Nouns
There are 3 basic types of nouns which are:
Proper Noun-A proper noun specifies a specific name, place, animal, etc.
Example-Aarav Roy, India, Ahmedabad, Red Fort, Taj Mahal, etc.

2. Common Noun-A Common noun is a genric name, place, animal, etc.
Example-Book, Palace, Car, Glass, Animal, Human, etc.
3. Abstract Noun-An abstract noun is a feeling/idea.
Example-Truth, Guilty, Belief, Ego, Anxiety, Happiness, Wisdom, etc.

There are other nouns also which you may not know
4. Concrete Noun-It is a noun that we can perceive with our senses.
Example-Flower, Lion, Mango, Nose, etc.
5. Countable Noun-A countable noun is anything that we can count.
Example-Pencils, Pillows, Books, Pillows, Buckets, Beds, etc.
6. Uncountable Noun-It is a noun that cannot be counted.
Example-Milk, Water, Rice, Music, Steam, Juice, Food, etc.
8. 8. Collective Noun-It is a noun that is referred to as a group of things as
a whole.
Example-Flock of birds, a Pack of wolves, a School of Fish, etc.
9. Singular Noun-A singular noun is referred to one thing.
Example-Cat, Dog, Ship, Monkey, Book, Girl, Horse, Building, House, etc.
10. Plural Noun-A plural noun is referred to many things. (Usually, add s)
Example-Cats, Dogs, Ships, Monkeys, Books, Girls, Horses, Buildings, etc.
7. Compound Noun-It is a noun that is made by joining two words.
Example- Flower, Lion, Mango, Nose, etc.
9. Why are nouns
Important?
Nouns are very important. Who
would know what you are talking
about if it weren't because of
nouns? We use nouns in everyday
life. All the ideas, things, places,
and people we mention every day
are nouns. You can't imagine how
hard it is to speak a sentence
without any nouns in it. Try it
