Social Phobia, also called "Social Anxiety Disorder" is a situation where everyday interactions cause significant anxiety, self-consciousness and embarrassment because one fears being scrutinized or judged negatively by other people. This can result in avoidance which can affect one's life. Purpose: This webinar is aimed at creating more awareness about this serious challenge affecting so many people around the world. It will expose us to the grave effect of social phobia, which in some cases, is a chronic mental condition, but which one can overcome using coping skills/strategies in psychotherapy and taking medications to help restore one's confidence and improve one's interaction with others.
