2. Field Expansion Project
Project Description:
As part of their Business expansion the attributes of SKU(Stock Keeping Unit) namely CLASS, DEPARTMENT are to

It is a Project of developing a new application which is extracting data from various files based on business logic and
displaying it on the screens.
Developed around 150 Objects which includes COBOL, DSPF, CPYBK, DDS etc.,

The client business has been increased so as part of that the complete attributes of the SKU(Stock Keeping Unit) are

Archiving
Project Description:
There were many unused objects present inside the system so need to delete them and all its dependencies by
making a document by taking the job name and listing out all the objects used in the job along with their last used
date and last created date and object type.
Fiscal Date Enhancements Project
Project Description:
The Fiscal date used to be 1-Feb of every year and the client had changed their Fiscal date to 1-Jul. There is a six
months of shift in their Fiscal calendar as part of these changes there were many programs in system where the
date value is to be changed where ever the date values were hardcoded.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Gathering requirements from existing system and end-users.
 Coordinator for understanding the Requirements and the Business Applications with Client team as a part of
requirement analysis phase.
 Involved in creating the new screens and Added new functionalities to the existing IMPS as per the client
request.
 Fixed production issues, which avoid many Abnormal Ends .

3.  Made respective source code changes in CLs, COBOLs, RPGs and Files.
 Coding COBOL, RPG programs, preparing CLs for generating reports.
 Involved in unit testing and preparation of the unit test cases according to the quality standards.

policies. For that all the products and risk types and screens for covernotes creations and covernote conversion and

PRODUCT CREATION
Project Description:
Am Genernal introducing new product Am Drive Plus by adding extra befit to the existing product Am Drive Care.I
am alone created this product by changing around 50 tabels and 20 cobols and handled expected bugs.
GST
Project Description:
Malaysia government planning to collect tax from the people in the form of goods and service tax(GST) from April
2015. Caliculation of 6% GST of all the premiums and printing and file updation and repots generation etc, done
around 100 cobols.
Detariff
Project Description:
Tariff for General Insurance in Malaysia is governed by Bank Negara Malaysia. The De-Tariff exercise for General
Insurance is expected to be implemented in 2016 whereby Insurance Companies will have their own competitive
advantage to package their products innovatively as well provide competitive pricing to their customers. To ensure
that AmGeneral Insurance Berhad is ready for the De-tariff exercise, the De-tariff Program was created.
The calculation of premium done by ADC system. The connection between ADC and AS400 system based on MFT.

4. Production Support
Project Description:
 I am increasingly responsible for carrying the trust of OCBC brand at production environment.
 Responsible for analysis of production issues, development of customized approach to arrest them and
utilities to automate manual intervention.
 Providing 24×7 operational support to all production practices.
 Working with various teams and raise support ticket for all issues, analyze root cause and assist in efficient
resolution of all production processes.
 Maintain logs of all issues and ensure resolutions according to quality assurance tests for all production
processes.
 Monitor and provide support to workflows and provide expert knowledge on all workflow designs
