This document provides instructions for using the Splash Page extension in Magento. It describes how to enable the extension, configure global and individual splash page settings, create CMS pages and blocks for splash pages, and set splash pages for categories, subcategories, and products. It also provides examples of how hidden products, redirect splash pages, and age verification splash pages will appear to users.

3. Aitoc1. Enabling the extension in Magento
In System > Manage Aitoc Modules, check
Splash Page Manager and click "Save
modules settings" on the top right.
4. Here you can set the minimum value for
age verification.
Set the name to be used instead of a
product name, if the product is hidden.
Choose the global JavaScript or the
global Redirect mode for the whole site.
Indicate the CMS page users will be sent to
if they don't pass age verification.

5. Use these settings to set a CMS page/
Age Verification/Agreement block for the
whole site. If enabled, this page/block
will be used for the whole site.
Here you can specify search engine
spiders that will be allowed to visit
blocked pages.

The Splash Page extension creates these
attributes:
aitsplash_ageverify
aitsplash_agreement
aitsplash_mode
aitsplash_page
These attributes should not be edited or
deleted as this will cause errors and
extension won't function.
Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes
7. Here you can choose the Splash Page
mode. You can also choose the page to
be used as Splash (if needed) and the
block for Age Verification/Agreement
block.
You can also apply the functionality to
Category/Subcategories only or to
Category/Subcategories and the
products in them.

In product page settings, choose the
mode for your Splash Page.
You can also set which page should be
used as the template and which blocks
should be used for Age verification and
Agreement accordingly.
They are created using the standard
Magento means. Please see the next
page (part 6) for more detail.
9. Here you can create a block for the Age
Verification form as well as a block for the
Agreement form.
These blocks are required if you want to
use the Age Verification /Agreement
functionality.
Go to "Pages" to create a CMS page using
standard Magento means that will be
used as your splash page (required if you
want to use this functionality).
Go to "Static Blocks" to create static
blocks using standard Magento means
that will be used for Age Verification/
Agreement.
