Thanks. Here is the organization structure paper1Organizational structureOrganizational
structureStudents NameCourse TitleInstructor’s NameDate2Organizational
structureOrganizational structureOrganizational structure and cultureWhile they might be
related, organizational culture is a major determinant of thebehavior of the organization in
that it directs the employee behavior, assumptions, attitudesand norms. The organizational
structure, on the other hand, is an external factor that is basedon the outside factors that
determine human behavior such as division of labor and authority(Musibau et al. 2016).
The organizational culture and structure impact each other in differentways based on the
context and with this, determine the decision making and generalfunctioning of the
organization. While organization structure might force employees to workin a way that
results in the achievement of company goals, it is upon the behavior ofemployees thus
culture for this to be a success. The structure of a company has to be in such away that it
allows the managers to be obeyed but at the same time, listen to the needs ofemployees.
The structure has to accommodate both parties for it to be a success. With a goodcorporate
structure, the company will build a culture of working in teams and respectingauthority. For
authority, it is easier to pass through instructions at work and expect feedbackfrom the
employees. At the same time, the employees’ ideas will be heard thus promotinginnovation
and productivity (Jinyoun et al. 2015).The best companies have been deemed to have a
clear mission statement whichguides employee behavior at work and their relationship
with other people within theorganization. Furthermore, these companies have an inspiring
and empathetic yet competentleader and encourage employee career development while
working there. Employees in suchcompanies are seen to be devoted and satisfied with the
work as a result of the goodorganizational culture. These employees possess values such as
integrity, devotion tocustomers, agility collaboration, innovation and
respect.3Organizational structureOrganization Structures: Best places to
workMicrosoftOrganizational structureBeing a product manufacturer dealing with both
software and hardware components,Microsoft has been termed as one of the best places to
work given its structure and culture. The company relies on its responsive structure,
product type divisional organizationalstructure, which has, for a long time, led to its
success. With a product type divisionalstructure, it means that the divisions in the
organization are based on the output of eachdivision i.e. type of hardware or software being
produced by each sector. Through this, employees in every department are liable in case of
any defective products and the same goesto celebrating achievements in the department in
such cases, being grouped according toqualification. Microsoft terms it as a way of ensuring
success and encouraging innovationfrom its employees. The company currently has four
divisions; productivity, intelligent cloud, personal computing and corporate. Microsoft went
into this type of organizational structurebearing in mind the product development purpose
it serves to the public. The products fromMicrosoft are competitive, and this can is owed to
its structure.Organizational CultureWhile using a product-divisional structure in its
government, Microsoft continues tolead its counterparts in the industry as a result of its
culture too. The organizational culture atMicrosoft is in such a way that it promotes
employees ability to solve problems occurring ateach division. Thus productivity is an
expectation from each division of the company(Raczynska & Krukowski, 2019). Through
this culture, the company believes that they caneasily solve problems without interference
and thus working on satisfying its customers who4Organizational structureare given the
highest priority. The culture is defined by five main values i.e. accountability, growth
mindset and career growth, the responsibility to the customer, and diversity.
Throughaccountability, the company holds every employee or group accountable for their
actionswhich include productivity or other actions related to the company or any division
theybelong in. Employees are constantly encouraged to be innovative in there given groups
