The film achieves this by adding zombies (which are associated with the horror
genre) and adding comical moments to the film, like the Bill Murray segment
of the film. The film achieves the horror comedy aspect with the use of comical
segments such as the Bill Murray partof the film, and the segmentwere
Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) is desperately trying to find a Twinkie for the
entirety of the film, these both make for a well thoughtout comical aspect
throughoutthe film

The messages that zombie land portrays and values are very effective ones.
For example, the list the Columbus Resides daily is a messageto tell the
audience that there are a specific set of rules that Columbus follows in order to
survivein zombieland. This gives a Message and value saying that in zombie
land everyonehas to look out for themselves. This can also be taken as a value
that should be carried over to the real world as well as zombie land.
Another Messagethat zombie land portrays is betrayal. This is seen
throughoutthe entirety of the film as Tallahassee and Columbus are constant
being left behind the two girls, the firstexample of this is when Tallahassee
and Columbus firstmeet the film in the supermarketwhen Wichita explains
that her sister has been bitten by a zombie and she needs help, they the hold
them at gun point and take their guns and their car keys. They also get left
behind later on throughoutthe film.
The messagethat this portrays refers back to Columbus’s list and about not
being a hero as they are always trying to savethe girls from danger and are
being left behind upon doing this.

is targeted towards, this means that people who are teenagers are going to be
