Women's clothes becomes simpler, flamboyance was done away with for
a little while.
Mens costume became more practical.
Clean simple cut of jackets and trousers came into fashion.
Pantaloons worn by common men became the fashion statement of the
day.
3. Elaborate draping became extremely
popular.
Gowns had a fabric coming from the
back pulled through some loops giving a
dress much more sophisticated look.
Jackets worn everyday started as
working class fashion
Heels were extremely popular for
women's.
4. HAIRSTYLE
During this time women had
worn extreme hairstyles with
huge wigs that they had
problems with bugs and rats
getting stuck inside of them
5. Male started wearing waist length coats.
A frock coat, typically wears for outdoor
activities.
The frock coat had to be trimmed around the
collars get reduced smaller cuffs.
Shirts during the period typically dropped at
the shoulders with a gathered tight wrist.
6. Hairstyle:
They typically tied their wigs with a black
ribbon and wore a Hat.
The hats were wide tricorne hats which
has three sides.
