2. Kris is an 18 year old in his first year of A-levels currently
studying Sport, Business, ICT and Maths. He is a typical student
who enjoys going out with his mates, listening to music and
playing sports. Kris’ music genre he enjoys the most is Hip
Hop/Rap and he often goes to gigs that fit this music genre from
massive arena artists to local upcoming acts. This year Kris is set
to go to Leeds Festival as he feels the acts that have been
announced such as Eminem and Devlin fit the type of music he
enjoys listening too. Most of the music on Kris’ IPhone includes
massive artists that are known all over the world and he likes to
stick to the mainstream music industry. Kris takes his phone
everywhere and has an impressive music library of over 2000
songs to choose from. In his spare time Kris plays football semi-
professionally and enjoys going to the gym where he will again
listen to music. Kris is an avid tweeter and follows many
Celebrities including Drake, J Cole and JayZ as he likes to know
what is going on in the music world. Kris likes to wear Flat beak
hats as it is a big trend with Hip Hop/Rap artists. I feel Kris fits
my target audience as he is young, sociable and has a keen
interest in music. The features in my magazine would suit Kris as
they would keep him up to date with the music world which he
enjoys doing and also inform him about the part of his favourite
artist he doesn’t usually see.
