The work MUST include a portrait and at least one hand. Please think about the space the artist exists within and scale/crop your work with intelligence and fore-thought. Include fabric when possible, and pay special attention to light logic (chiaroscuro).<br />Student Learning Objectives:<br />Demonstrate a basic ability to render the figure in space with proper proportions and scale within a composition that has balance and is well considered.

2. Demonstrate a basic ability to render a life-like portrait.

3. Demonstrate a basic ability to render a life-like hand.

4.
