2. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product
• All throughout the making of my contents page, front cover and double page spread, I was
constantly learning new skills and techniques of certain software's. I was already quite familiar
with the use of Photoshop, However, found it quite hard trying to grasp how to use InDesign,
this was because I was not familiar with it. (but with time; became familiar with it)
While producing my product, I found out that Photoshop is used to
manipulating and editing images while InDesign was used for page layouts and
constructions.
While using Photoshop to
manipulate my front cover image, I found
it quite difficult trying to change the colour
and extent of brightness of my characters
hair. So i searched curve adjustment. This
was because although I am quite familiar
with Photoshop, I do not normally use
curves on my image.

3. What have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing your front cover? Front cover:
Through using Photoshop, to
manipulate my images I have
been able to learn to use
more advanced image
adjustments such as curves,
channel mixer and noise.

4. While making my media product I used a range of
different technologies. Which also involves using a
computer; however, below is a list of different
technologies which I used during the process of
constricting my product:
Digital camera
• Adobe Photoshop
• Blogger and other
• Internet explorer
• Slide rocket
• InDesign
• Microsoft word

5. Digital camera
I used a digital camera to take the pictures
which were used in my funk magazine. This
technology was really helpful as I was able to
take really sharp and clear looking pictures for
my magazine; this helped to reduce the
amount of editing involved in sharpening my
pictures.

6. Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop allowed me to edit
and sharpen my pictures which were
taken using a digital camera
(technology) this allowed me to
manipulate my images to suit my music
genre; funk.
Adobe was really helpful as I was able to
include more vibrant colours on specific
areas of my images.

spread as it helped my to transfer a
coloured image into black and white

7. Microsoft word and Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft word and micro soft
PowerPoint helped mw to document
the progression of my magazine before
updating them into my blog
MI Microsoft PowerPoint helped me
especially because they were much
more easier to be uploaded onto slide
share or slide rocket.

8. Internet explorer
Internet explorer was a really helpful when I was
making my magazine. As I used it for my research,
blogging, planning and even evaluation of my
work.
Basically, internet explorer was used in every
section of the making of my magazine, as it helped
me in every way possible.

9. Sliderocket and slideshare
I used slide rocket during the process of
updating my blogs.
Slide rocket enabled me to upload my
Microsoft PowerPoint into my blogging
site (blogger)
I also used slide share for updating my blogs.
That is, jus like slide rocket, slide share helped
me to upload my PowerPoint slides into my
blogger

10. InDesign
After using Photoshop to manipulate my images; I used
InDesign to lay them out. InDesign helped me to construct
the layout of my magazine. This was really helpful; as I need
to use margins and columns to organise my layouts
