Listening Part  Key things to remember
Listen carefully   • Listen for specifics  • Answer as you listen  • Keep moving forward  • Know your clues   • Watch out for traps
Spelling tasks   • Practice makes perfection  • Record yourself while spelling and then play it  • Practice telephone numbers and places  • Multiple choice questions :  • Elimination is a good strategy
Copy answers smartly  jaj
Do not waste time   • Multiple choice question just copy the right letter  • Sentence completion just copy your answer  • For true/false/not given just copy T F or NG  • Always write the full version of words. No abreviations  • For gap fills just copy the word you have chosen
Can´t remember what you heard?   START GUESSING  and use common sense
Reading Part  useful tips to score above 7
3 large passages   • Manage your own time  • Don´t read- Just scan  • Circle keywords, places, dates, events  • Underline the words that explain the main idea  • Find answers remember to follow the passage layout
Follow the instructions   • If a heading cannot be used more than once- cross it out  • If a statement CLEARLY appears in the text it is True  • If the text clearly says the opposite it is False  • If you didn´t find the statement to be true or false is NG  • Each parragraph contains an answer to one question
Avoid making assumptions Only use the information from the passage and not your own
Writing Part
2 Tasks   • Task 1 (report)  • Task 2 (essay)  • Show that you understand the instructions  • Do not copy task instructions. Rephrase your answers  • Identify what information you need to use and how 
Types of graph   • Single line graph  • Double line graph  • Bar graph   • Pie chart  • Table or Process
Rules to follow   • Report must be of at least 150words written in 20 minutes  • You shouldn´t write your opinion or copy words from graph  • Never use bullets- write as if you are writing an essay  • Remember that the report must be objective NOT subjective  • Remember to paraphrase-use synonims
Task 2   • This task is subjective. Your opinion is often requested   • Your opinion must be argued in an articulate manner  • Follow the instructions   • Remember the structure: Introduction, body, conclusion  • Argument - HIdden Argument- Situation - 3 kinds of essay
Rules to follow   • Write on given topic directly, don´t slide to another theme  • Write in general, not about your personal experiences   • Read tasks instructions and write about everything that is requested  • Give recommendations and advice ONLY if requested
