Spend the first minute or two
reading the instructions.
Leave your weakest topic for last
so that you don't waste valuable
time struggling with a topic that
you find difficult.
Arrange your time so that you have
a few minutes at the end of the exam
to go through your questions and
answers to check them.
Set your alarm so that you get up in
good time, can eat a good breakfast and

and stay in control. You can only achieve this state
of mind if you prepare yourself well ahead of time.
Spend the day before an examination going over
all the work that you have studied so far, using
your summaries or mind-maps.
Note the time allowed for the examination
and the number of questions that you have to
answer. Divide your time carefully so that you
answer the full number of questions that are
required. If you leave out questions, you will
lose a lot of marks.
Get enough sleep. Most people need
seven to eight hours a night and you
remember better if you are getting
