For the distributor, Survey Analytics built andintegrated a proprietary bar code database of itsproducts.Today, the distributors representatives use theirmobile devices to collect a vast amount of informationduring their in-store visits, including bar code scans oftheir own and competitive products. They take photos and videos, and they answerquestions about the store and the placement ofproducts.The retail intelligence collected by distributionrepresentatives on smartphones and tablet devices issynced securely to a centralized database for analysis. This near real-time information gives the distributor acompetitive advantage in the beverage marketplace.
