Athens International Airport S.A. (hereinafter called "AIA"), in compliance with the Airport Development
Agreement as ratified by Law 2338/1995 (Government Gazette A’202/14.09.95) having finalized the preliminary
design concept of a multi-storey car parking facility, intends to tender herewith the detailed design of this facility.
Based on the approved concept, the facility consists of a 7-level, 6-storey above ground car parking structure
which shall be constructed at the area of the existing P1 Short-term Parking. The proposed facility will be a
naturally ventilated, steel/concrete composite structure. The total surface of the building sums up to approx.
97,000 m2. The total capacity of the facility is estimated at 3,700 parking spaces and will accommodate short
and long term parking, car rentals, valet parking and motorcycles.
The detailed design of the parking structure’s connections to the terminal departures’ level bridge, the
pedestrian bridge and the adjacent road network also falls under the same scope.

The Contractor will utilize the findings of the preliminary design concept study to examine in detail all associated
technical and operational aspects of the multi-storey car parking.
The study will be performed in 3 interim stages: outline design, detailed design and shop drawings package,
whereas workshop drawings shall be undertaken by the Contractor.
The Contractor will assess all design parameters and prepare a complete detailed design package for the
following design disciplines (list indicative and not exhaustive):

- Structural / site surveying / geotechnical
- Transportation planning / wayfinding
- Mechanical
- Electrical / Electronic
- Information Technology & Telecommunications
- Fire fighting
- Landscaping / irrigation
The Contractor will also provide detailed bill of quantities and cost calculations for each discipline and per
design stage, develop a detailed time schedule incorporating milestone dates and other requirements for the
implementation of the project, prepare a construction phasing and logistics plan and lastly, prepare the full
tender documentation that will enable AIA to proceed with the subsequent construction phase.

3. Each member of the consortium or of group pf companies must meet the requirements of paragraph 1, falling
at least into one of the cases of paragraph 2, otherwise the consortium or the group of companies shall be
deprived of the right to participate in the tender.
The consortium or the group pf companies may concern one single or different design categories. If there is
a partnership in the same category, the maximum number of partners must not exceed three (3), under the
penalty of exclusion of the said partnership from the tender.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals:
Interested applicants may lodge an appeal before the Contracting Entity, by specially specifying the legal and
real causes that justify its application are obliged, within a deadline of five (5) days, after taking notice in any
way whatsoever of the illegal action or omission in the course of the tender. The appeal is communicated, care
of the petitioner, to the representative or the authorized attorney of any entity affected by any total or partial
acceptance of the appeal. No exercise of appeal versus an act, which accepts in whole or in part an appeal by
another person, is required. The Contracting Entity is obliged to decide justifiably, within a deadline of ten (10)
