  1. Introduction of myself, my background, my position, my involvement
  2. Ask participants to give you their definition of Agile. Write them down on a white board, poster board, etc. After you get a good list, ask others which they agree with the most.
  3. I’m sure most of you have seen this before. How many people believe this is a true representation of some projects? Let’s break it down because this tells you the problems that we need to resolve. Talk over the sections and ask what others have done to prevent.
  4. Refer back to previously created list. If Agile can mean a lot of things, then it is not just one thing. You don’t just say – we’re going agile and happiness abounds!
  5. Comic Relief or Real Life?
  6. Key word here is “Over” not “Instead Of” or “AND NEVER”.
  7. Data first – what am I capturing. Why data first? It leads to more discussions and fleshes out more requirements.
  8. Sample of larger organizations. Run through sections and explain.
  9. SCRUM – What most people think of these days when talking about Agile.
  10. Train your PMs, SCRUM Masters, Development Teams, Business Teams, Executives to run faster and improve with SCRUM.
