8. Do your worksheets for the day while I read
to you.
Today’s seat work book is: The Magic School
Bus Explores the Five Senses by Joanna Cole.
When everybody has finished seat work, we
will do our taste activity.
9. Get one piece of paper and number it 1 – 6.
I will give you a food, and you are to taste it.
Then, tell me what it taste’s like and I will
give you the spelling on a slip of paper. For
example, I might have to taste a candy cane.
I think it tastes sweet and minty. I will copy
the first part of the sentence from the
powerpoint (The candy cane tastes) and fill
in my paper words. My sentence will say: The
candy cane tastes minty and sweet.
