ESting.Afterwe finalisedourideas,we immediatelystartedworkingonourpre-productionwork.

November2017 - to start filmingourEStinganimation.Toshootthe whole animationinone
lesson,andif needbe we couldextendthe filmingtobreakandC Block.

November2017 - to finalise ourfootage tosee if we needtodoanotherfilmingsessionif we
needanimprovementorbetterqualityof footage.

For thisweek,we have filmedouranimation.Althoughthe filmingwentwellandsmoothly,during
our editingprocess,we feltthatthere weren’tmuchof animationhappening.Therefore,we decided
to re-shootthe whole animationagainwithanew plot.

For thisweek,we have toquicklyre-shootouranimationandwe endedupchangingourwhole plot
– to make ithave more animatedsense intoouranimation.

Initial Ideas
For our initial idea,atfirstwe decidedtodoa Victorianeraghosthauntingthe bathroomandthen
we plannedtohave the giantE4 signcomingout fromthe ghost’sback.We hadthissolidideafora
week,however,we decidedtochange itdue todifficultiesof the logocomingoutof the back, as
well aswe couldn’tgeta Victorianeracostume.
We came to a conclusiontouse the ideaof BloodyMary, incontrary to the legendthatif yousay the
name ‘BloodyMary’ three times,she wouldappearandhauntyou.For thisanimation,toelaborate
and make connectiontowardsE4,we are goingto say the name four times – insteadof saying
‘BloodyMary’,we are goingto say ‘E4’ fourtimesandthenthroughthe mirrorE4 logowould
appear.
Amendment:We decidedtochange the plotat lastminute,we decidedtohave Maiafloataround
the toiletsandappearand disappearinsidethe cubicles.Butwe keptthe lastpart similartothe
original idea.
