The document is a collection of poems and passages about falling leaves in autumn. It describes the various colors of leaves, from orange to yellow to green. It notes how leaves fall from trees in autumn and float to the ground like feathers. One poem observes leaves falling into students' open hands. Another describes leaves falling in a spinning tornado of different colors that never seems to stop. The final passage comments on how clever leaves are at slipping from people's grasps when they try to catch them.

1. Fall
Leaves, leaves, leaves. Pretty as can be. What would we do without
leaves. Orange, brown, yellow, and green. Oh, if the leaves went
missing, then we would feel bad for the trees. Fall, fall, fall. All of the
leaves fall of in fall. The leaves fall like a feather. Some are rough, some
are softer than leather. Big ones, little ones giant ones, and tiny ones.
They come in all different colors. All different shapes. All different sizes.
2. Fallen Leaves (Haiku)
All the fallen leaves,
Come from the biggest trees,
As they touch the ground.
The grass is quite wet,
AnnMarie read me her poem,
It is really weird.
Trying to catch leaves,
I drew on AnnMaries page,
She is mad at me.
3. Fallen Leaves (continued)
Could not stop laughing,
AnnMarie did notice that,
That went in her poem.
Time to go inside,
This should have been about leaves,
That didn’t work out.
4. Fallen Leaves (Haiku) vol. 2
This is a new start,
Actually about leaves,
This will be better.
Leaves falling slowly,
Into students open hands,
A little success.
Sitting on the ground,
Where the crisp leaves like to touch,
And fall in the grass.
5. Fallen Leaves Vol. 2 (continued)
All different colors,
In a spinning tornado,
Never like to stop.
In my opinion,
This poem is much better,
Do you think so to?
6. Fall Leaves
The leaves on the trees are very clever.
They always know when you try to catch them,
always slipping from your grasp.
The leaves are outsmarting us.
There’s not a cloud in the sky.
Except for one drifting across the blue canvas,
giving contrast to the hues of the leaves.
Catching leaves make 50 year-olds act like 12 year-olds.
And 12 year-olds like three year-olds.
