1. Proposal
• I want to create a R&B music magazine. I want to create a R&B music magazine
because I want to create a magazine that combines both American and British
R&B in one magazine – I also feel that there is a gap in the market for it.
• I feel that Vibe Media are the best publishing house to publish my magazine –
because they publish Vibe Magazine – and I feel that Vibe are the most similar to
the product that I am creating.
• I feel that my target audience are going to be males females aged 17-23 in the
ABC1 category. I want to target and men and women because I feel that not many
magazines target both and if it is done successfully – therefore widening my
market share and receiving more revenue. I want to target ABC1 categories
because they’re more inclined to buy a music magazine – because they have a
higher disposable income.
• In my photoshoot. I will have a female model. Having a female model caters to
both female and male audiences. In the photoshoot, she will be wearing a flowery
playsuit, leather vest and trousers and black eyeliner with bright red lipstick. This
represents the high class side of my artist and also relates to the personal tone
that the article conveys.
