- I’m here to talk to you about The Friday Zone! The show’s been produced continuously since 1999, so we’re entering our 14th year. This year will also mark our 400th episode, so we average about 26 episodes each year. At its most basic, the show is an educational variety show – a local version of Zoom, with some music, skits, and characters like the original Electric Company. Here’s a look at our studio environment…
- One of the coolest new things about Season 13 is that we’ve tracked the content of every episode back to Indiana Standards.
- A lot of that educational component comes from our recurring series. Health, nutrition, STEM subjects, Literacy. Again, all tracking back to Indiana State Standards. But the bulk of the show is in our studio and field segments…
- And here’s last year’s guests and field segments. We strive to be Indiana’s kids show, and we do our best to get around the state as much as possible.
