  • Six famous peopleof the Renaissance
  • ERASMUS OF ROTTERDAM He was born in 1466 and he died in 1536. Erasmus was an early proponent of religious toleration. He was a Dutch Renaissance humanist, catholic priest, social critic, teacher and theologian.
  • THOMAS MORE He was born in 1478 and he died in 1540. Thomas More was an important councilor of Henry VIII. He was an English lawyer, social philosopher, author, states man and a Renaissance humanist.
  • JUAN LUIS VIVES He was born in 1492 and he died in 1540. Luis Vives was Lord Cancellor of Henry VIII, investigator, pedagogue, reader in an English school, a humanist and a philosopher.
  • ANDREA VESALIUSHe was born in 1514 and he died in 1564.Andrea Vesalius was a Flemish anatomist and politician.He is the founder of modern human anatomy.
  • MIGUEL SERVETHe was born in 1511 and he died in 1553.Miguel Servet studied a lot of things: astronomy, metereology, geography, theology, maths, anaromy and medicine.
  • NICHOLAS COPERNICUS He was born in 1473 and he died in 1543. Copernicus was who formulated the heliocentric theory. He was astronomer and scientist.
