This presentation will provide a high-level view of building permits in Canada. The focus will be looking at areas like residential, commercial and industrial permits. Permits are a key as they are big source of income for municipalities. Cities that have gain allot of traction in terms of permits have been Kitchener-Waterloo and Oshawa. It appears the cost of housing is forcing people to expand their housing search beyond the GTA.
