15. Предуслови?

Editor's Notes
Last year the Ministry of Education reactivated a website, which is an ample resource of information for schools and other interest groups concerned with education since it contains all current and relevant information, a register of institutions, contests, regulation acts, and all other information related to all levels of education.
Many societies and associations, such as Pedagogic Society of Serbia, Foreign Languages and Literatures Association of Serbia, Mathematical Society of Serbia, Center for Development and application of science, technology and informatics, etc. offer abundant information on students' knowledge contests, in-service teacher training, enable exchanges of experiences, downloading educational contents, etc.
The programme "Partners in Learning“ helps individuals to realize their potentials by the use of ICT and provides informational infrastructure to schools and professional training, as well as educational contents for application of ICT in the teaching process in the Serbian language. PIL- courses: distance professional training courses, organised by the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, in co-operation with Partners in Learning programme, have been taking place since 2006.
The Institut e for Development of Education, in cooperation with the Microsoft, has been organizing, for six years now, a contest named "Creative School", and the best examples of teaching innovations are rewarded and presented on the IDE website and the portal of the “Creative School”. The aim of the contest is to promote and stimulate creative work of teachers in elementary and secondary school and to form a database of examples of good teaching practice ( www.kreativnaskola.rs )
School of Biology , a result of many years of practice of a secondary school teacher Snežana Trifunović, her current and former students, and students of biology. The School of Biology is a web portal which contains three linked projects: - the website itself which includes various texts on biology, virtual teaching, dictionary, gallery, secondary-school students' and students'-of-biology works database, - electronic tuition on the Moodle platform, and - a forum for exchange of knowledge and peer learning, making friends …
Familiarising students with all stages in the process of bread-making and the ways of making bread in the past; raising awareness of the importance of bread for life and good health as well as of the need for respecting human efforts expended in the process of bread-making; familiarising with the ritual and religious function of bread and its deeper symbolism. The topic of bread is also studied in the two fundamental subjects ( Serbian and Mathematics ) as well as two optional subjects (national tradition and religion ) , which allows for a wider and a deeper, cross-curricular approach to this thematic unit.
Using the example of the great Serbian and worldwide known scientist, Milutin Milankovi ć , the authors showed that there is an inextricable connection between science, art and religion when we try to familiarise with and make sense of the world in which we live in an attempt to discover the meaning of life. This was accomplished through familiarising students with and popularising scientific and literary work of Milutin Milankovi ć.
Designed as electronic media peer learning, it is a combination of outdoor and electronic learning. Students walked around the places they live in, took photographs and videos. In their classes of “The world around us” , Serbian, English and Arts, they elaborated on what they had learned from their peers. Finally, they visited one another, after which they organised a video-chat.
In their Biology and Computer Programming classes, a Philosophy panel, through team work and Moodle platform, students studied: protein synthesis, sub-programmes, ethical dillemas surrounding genetic engineering, critical thinking, the use of the Internet as a source of knowledge, etc.
Children Talk Junior students of four elementary schools in different cities in Serbia attend linguistic workshops and cooperate, explore and discover the features and the beauty of the mother tongue, record their own interpretations and speech related to particular speech activities, and draw illustrations of the assigned themes. By using the tools of wiki-space they learn together about similarities and differences in speech of geographically distant regions. The aim of the workshops is that students get to know children from different parts of the country, develop mutual understanding and respect, and patriotism through discovering the secrets of the language. One of more specific aims is acquisition of elementary media literacy, since students encounter the phenomena of sound, sound recordings, the computer and the internet as a hyper medium. The authors of the project are Nada Purtić and Slavica Jurić.
The use of state-of-the-art technology in the preparation and realisation of syllabus (mainly computers), connecting syllabus with the local community resources, elimination or reasonable limitation of “classical” teaching tools. Since children with mild mental retardation use only concrete thinking, this way of teaching allows children to master in a concrete manner and within their limits some abstract notions as well. Active students participation in the process of preparing, familiarising with and practicing the syllabus. Facilitates the efforts towards speech and language correction of special needs children.
School for elementary and secondary education "Milan Petrović" Novi Sad The development of a website was initiated by the teachers of the Elementary school "Milan Petrović" in Novi Sad in 2008. The project, whose author and coordinator is Mirjana Lazor is aimed at creating permanent conditions for children with developmental difficulties (primarily children with physical deficiencies) to have access to knowledge in crucial curricular fields (Serbian Language, Mathematics, Nature and Society) in order to facilitate their achievements and enable them to finish elementary and proceed to secondary education.
Technical School, Zaječar Moodle platform for electronic learning was developed for an experimental educational profile for which there were no adequate textbooks. Currently there are 69 courses divided into six categories, and so far 1180 users have been registered. The users are not exclusively the school's students and teachers, but also colleagues from other cities in Serbia and other countries in the region.
In their Biology and Computer Programming classes, a Philosophy panel, through team work and Moodle platform, students studied: protein synthesis, sub-programmes, ethical dillemas surrounding genetic engineering, critical thinking, the use of the Internet as a source of knowledge, etc.
