aps Solutions GmbH provides active thermal control (ATC) systems for temperature testing. The ATC systems can control temperature from -40°C to 125°C with an accuracy of 0.1°C. They use thermoelectric coolers (TECs) and chillers to provide cooling power. The systems include a universal thermal head with a cold plate, TEC, copper adapter and thermocouple wires. They also have a semi-automatic socket lid system and automatic handler design. The ATC systems are controlled through a graphic user interface connected to a controller. Performance tests show the systems can cool down and perform cold temperature ramps.
