2. ASVAB
What is the ASVAB?
Acronym for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude
Battery. It is a timed multiple choice test that tests for
multiple aptitudes, and takes about three hours on average
to complete. The test is administered at over fourteen
thousand (14,000) schools and Military Entrance Processing
Stations (MEPS) across the entire United States. Think of it
as the entrance exam to the United States Military.
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is the most
used multiple aptitude test in the world, with nearly one
million tests per year. The questions on this test are often
changed in order to ensure that it always gives a fair
representation of what each person’s strengths and
weaknesses are. For this reason, it is unlike many other
tests.
