2. Demonic
This genre is about devils and the supernatural.
Generally a demon monster threatens people.
For examples films such as ‘The Omen Trilogy’
(1976, 1978 and 1981) and ‘The Exorcist’
(1973).
3. Psyche
This genre is about seemingly normal people with
mental problems.
Generally to begin with characters seem normal and
as the film progresses it become apparent they are
deranged.
For example ‘Psycho’ 1960 and 'Peeping Tom’
1960.
4. Armageddon
This genre is about the end of the world and /or
the rise of the dead.
Generally these movies can be set after a
catastrophic world event or involved the normal state
of people being altered.
For example ‘Dawn of the dead’ in 1978 and the
remake in 2004 and ‘28 Days Later' in 2002.
