    • A Balanced Life Is your life balanced or unbalanced?
    • Unbalanced Balanced
      • Which one are you?
    • Family and Friends Spend quality time with your family and friends – 25-50 hours a week.
    • Exercise
      • Are you a couch potato?
      • How often do you exercise every week?
      • We should exercise regularly every week and enjoy our PE lessons.
    • Healthy Eating The food pyramid is a good guide for our health and a balanced diet. Do you eat 5+ a day? (5 servings of fruit and vegetables) and drink plenty of water?
    • Hygiene
      • It is very important to wash your hands -
      • after going to the toilet
      • before eating food
      • when you come back home.
      • It is also very important to have a shower or a bath everyday.
    • Sleep How many hours sleep do you have every night? It is very important to have at least 10-12 hours sleep every night so that you are able to have a balanced life.
    • Fun
      • Did you know that you use less muscles and energy when you smile than when you frown?
      • It is very important to have lots of fun in our life. .
      • A happy person enjoys life and most likely will have a balanced life.
      • Isn’t it great laughing with your friends and having fun?
    • Schoolwork
      • Working hard at school is good for our brains because we use different sides of our brain for different mental activities.
      • When you work hard and exercise, your body and brain give you a sense of satisfaction and well-being that helps you to have a balanced life.
    • Spirituality
      • To complete our balanced life we should be kind to others, help those who need help, play and share things with others.
      • When was the last time you helped someone in need?
    • “ Variety is the spice of life.”
      • If you do an even amount of the previous activities you will have a balanced life and because of this you will have a sense of well-being.
