12. We construct our world through metaphor. We can only conceptualise by
making comparisons between different realms of experience. A
metaphor shows us one thing as another, and in doing so extends the
way we see the world, also often refreshing and enlivening our
perception. In oral and written language, using the medium of
picture imagery, metaphor speaks directly to our imaginative
faculties, bypassing our rational brain. Such metaphoric byways and
pathways enable us to explore the ideas, forces, and powers that lie
behind or beyond our rational thought and helps us in overcoming the
limitations of our fixed categories.

16. ‘Constellations’ is a word derived from astronomy and it means:
a bunch of elements that seem unorganized, but when you
connect them, they form a structure - like the connect-the-dot
drawing from your childhood.
We position participants (or figurines/stuffed animals) who
represent your family members, colleagues or other people. They
might even stand for animals, personal issues, life events or your
body; basically anything in your life.
Family Constellation work recognizes that trauma
unaddressed/undealt with remains alive/unfinished in the
psyche/subconscious mind of the entire family even throughout
subsequent generations.
It’s very easy to create energy fields and with experience this
work is a great self-help tool.

… and that’s why I’m here today! People often ask me about meditation. For me mediation is doing what I love. Then I can forget time and space and simply be! My name is Monika and I have immigrated to Canada 7 years and 3 months ago. 7 years in Manitoba, 3 months on the island.
Energy surrounds us and we are constantly interacting energy fields. I am my own energy field, each of you has his/her own energy field. You are an energy field as a group. And my energy field is interacting with you as a group right now. This again creates a special energy in this room right NOW that cannot be recreated again.
This is very general just for presentation purpose. In most cases it’s detective work to find the core issue. And we often speak of the onion that has to be peeled to reveal the aspects.
