  2. 2. Beach Soccer Media and Sponsorship Opportunities Beach Soccer Promotions represents the new drive and direction in Beach Soccer, the fastest growing 5V5 sand sport in the US. With its aerobatic, high velocity, and photogenic play, there are great opportunities to become involved in media coverage or sponsorships in this annual attendance doubling sport. • Beach Soccer Promotions owns, operates, or licenses the Copa Cabana Beach Soccer Tournaments, Leagues, and Clinics. • Next year ten tournaments, and four leagues, are scheduled in California, Nevada, and Florida. • Participants range from youth teams to adult, men, women, and coed teams, as well as national and international ProAm teams. • Entries ranges from 60 to 300 teams with a maximum of 20,000 people in attendance in Santa Monica. Beach Soccer Promotions is the marketing arm of the United States Beach Soccer Federation. The Federation; • Promotes eighty tournaments a year and has all the information on its website. • Has started a coaches and referee training and licensing program. • Is conducting beach soccer clinics in association with city athletics departments. • Is endorsed by the World Beach Soccer Federation. • Has an agreement with Fuertes Soccer European beach soccer championship for media licensing and sponsorship. • Will be representing the Major Beach Soccer League in Florida, and Pacific Coast League in California, for media and sponsorship opportunities. • ProAm coaches and players played, coached, or are currently playing on the US national team, the World Cup winning Brazilian team, and many other South American World cup winners. Since this is a very fast growing sport and tournaments are sprouting up in unlikely places the dynamics of licensing and sponsorship as well as media coverage are changing and new opportunities are opening up all the time. Sponsors have the opportunity to get their brands represented in one or more tournaments, on the team shirt, championship trophies, or on the websites of various tournaments and leagues of the federation. Sponsor’s product samples can be in front of thousands of people. ProAm teams can be sponsored as a traveling team to the various national or international tournaments.

MISSION and PURPOSE STATEMENT Mission: • Copa Cabana Beach Soccer is dedicated to bringing the best, of a worldwide sport to athletes and would be athletes nation wide, developing beach soccer tournaments in local communities open to young and adult players, showcasing top Amateur and Professional teams, all set in a festival atmosphere. Purpose: • To create a beach weekend soccer festival with music, food, and entertainment. • To facilitate a local soccer community wanting to experience the fun and athletic challenges of beach soccer. • To identify a play area either on an existing beach or converting open space into a sand area suitable and safe for the requirements of beach soccer. • To create a series of investments opportunities for sponsors to help bring top level players and coaches to the tournaments. • To increase the visibility of the sport by attracting international as well as national professional and top amateur players and teams to the tournaments. • To provide an environment for all levels of play in boys girls and coed competition in a tournament setting. • To develop a national Beach Soccer finalists competition for youth, adult, and pro teams. • To train Coaches and Referee’s specifically for beach soccer competitions. • To promote the formation of local, co-sponsored, city endorsed youth and adult leagues.

This year’s tournaments and leagues will attract over 200,000 Players, Coaches, and Spectators Copa Cabana Beach Tournaments • Attract an attendance of 5,000-15,000 players, coaches, family and friends per weekend. • Tournaments are free to the public, attracting 1000’s of local visitors and sports enthusiasts to each event. • Registration ranges from 100-350 teams per tournament. • Youth Players are from local and distant soccer clubs boys and girls ages 9-18. • Adult Players men women and coed teams are from local and distant ,as well as international clubs. • Players typically check into local hotels Friday nights and attend a welcoming and registration event. • On game days, Local and National vendors will sell and display athletic wear, equipment, beach and sun accessories. • Beach Soccer is attracting a following interested in health and recreation with a minimal investment of equipment and maximum enjoyment. • Beach Soccer is an extremely fast moving higher scoring game requiring a high degree of aerial athleticism and stamina. • Beach Soccer is played on an approximately 30x40 Yard court with five players a side for three, 12 minute periods.
