18-hole private country club, member owned facility established in 1899 in the western suburbs
of Chicago. Host to 1973 & 1981 USGA Women’s Opens, several USGA qualifiers and the
CDGA Amateur Championship.
Managed a staff of 30 including 3 Assistant Golf Professionals and a golf operations budget of
$600,000. Annual rounds played ranged from 16,000 to 18,000.
• Conducted 50 member events annually within budget to enhance the member’s
experiences.
• Managed 4 to 6 Monday corporate golf outings ranging from 80 – 200 players that
contributed to the club’s outreach objectives and budget goals.
• Coordinated with the course superintendent for daily play conditions and communicated
needs for special events setup.

27-hole private country club community established in 1974 and set in the woodlands of the
Indiana Dunes in Northwest Indiana and just 45 miles from Chicago. Hosts the annual Northern
Amateur tournament.
Reported to the General Manager weekly while responsible for a staff of 50 including 3 Assistant
Golf Professionals and an annual budget of $500,000. There was also an emphasis on club
promotion in the community to help with membership recruiting.
• Managed and introduced several new programs and events to increase member
engagement due to dramatic club growth.
• Managed an active Monday outing program to increase club revenues and community
involvement.
• Managed the annual Northern Amateur tournament with a national field and strong
support and involvement by the club members to ensure a successful and enjoyable
experience.
