  2. 2. Benefits of immunization/vaccination The vaccines work by building up the child’s defense capacity against diseases. Immunized people do not spread diseases threatening the family or other members of the community. Some diseases often lead to death if not treated with vaccination. Immunization is vaccination Child immunization Children who are immunized are protected from dangerous diseases. Otherwise these diseases may lead to disability or death Every girl and boy needs to get immunized.
