Three films are discussed that inspired the creators: Philadelphia, about the stigma around AIDS; The Pursuit of Happiness, showing one man's struggles through voiceover and flashbacks; and Precious, focusing on a vulnerable teenager dealing with emotional issues. The document discusses representing these themes through a film targeting 15+ females with interests in social issues, using techniques like close-ups, dreams, and realistic portrayals of symptoms. Distribution through companies like Film4 that allow online distribution are considered. The learning process around technologies like cameras, editing software, and effects is described.

8. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this
product?
Throughout the project we have learnt so much about the technologies from
the process of constructing our opening sequence.
It started off with our research and planning, we learnt to embed PowerPoint,
uploading images and you tube clips and writing posts for experiences and
explanations.
Our preliminary was the first time we used the tripod and camera, we were
introduced To the imacs and used the imovie programme, here we learnt to
edit and convert the preliminary onto QuickTime player where we could
upload it and embed to our blogs.
For our opening sequence we also used the imovie programme, we had more
Better Advanced skills as we learnt how to manipulate sounds and music,
using voice recorder and adding effects.
9. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you
have learnt in the Progression from it to the full product?
Looking at the preliminary task we felt that we have made a big
progression as now We are all very familiar and comfortable
With using the imacs.
After the preliminary task we had more time over the weeks to
try out some of the effects listed.
