8. PMP® Examination
Format
The PMP® Certification Examination is a computer-
based test (CBT) and comprises of 200 multiple –
choice questions. The duration of exam is 4 hours .
25 pretest questions will be randomly placed
throughout the examination , these questions will
not be included in the pass/fail determination . To
pass the PMP® examination , candidate must
answer a minimum 106 out of the 175 questions
correctly .

9. PMP® Examination Fees , Cancellations & Refunds

Exam Cancellations & Rescheduling
Candidate can cancel or reschedule their exam no later than 48 hours (2 business days) before the
scheduled exam date .
Examination Refunds
A refund can be obtained upon written request to PMI® one month before the eligibility expiration
date .
A processing fee of $100.00 will be retained by PMI®

10. PMI® Audit Process
• Once application is submitted , it is subject to
an audit; although only a percentage of
application is selected randomly for the audit
• After Payment PMI will notify through email
whether application is selected for an audit
• During the audit process , application will have
to furnish supporting documentation for their
education and work experience . PMI will take
5 business days to complete the audit process
• In case applicant fails to meet the audit
requirement , they will receive the refund for
their exam fee post deduction of $100
11. PMI® Continuing Certification
Requirements
A certified PMP® must accrue a minimum of 60
professional development units (PDUs) during
each CCR cycle. The first CCR cycle begins on the
day the applicant passes the certification exam
and expires after 3 years .
