A presentation which was used as part of an assembly in a UK primary school about Regional Language Differences.
Thanks to everyone on Twitter to helped to contribute the words.
2. about This Presentation
This presentation was used in an assembly about ‘differences around
the UK’. The content was contributed by people on Twitter.
At the top of each slide, there is a word which is used in a particular
part of the UK. The middle area shows the meaning, as well as the
postcode / place name of where the word is used.
We talked about the words and their meanings in our assembly. We
also looked up the places in Google Earth to see where they were in
relation to our school in Kent.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the presentation.
