    • Functionality Presentation July 2010
    • Purpose To provide an overview of Ultranet Release 1 functionality for students and teachers
    • The Ultranet is a student centered electronic learning environment that supports high quality learning and teaching , connects students, teachers and parents and enables efficient knowledge transfer . It will establish a schools environment for the future that improves the educational outcomes of all Victorians. The Ultranet will be delivered to all Victorian government schools by the end of Term 3, 2010. Vision

      • Take part in online learning activities using the latest web 2.0 tools
      • Create a personal online learning portfolio and set personal learning goals

      • Parents will be able to:
      • View their child’s attendance information
      • Progressively review their child’s learning progress, including at home or in-school tasks and teacher feedback

      • Access personalised learning activities both within and outside of the classroom
      • Submit work and receive feedback online from teachers and parents
      • In time, access a continuous online record of learning progress, available from year to year and school to school
