1. Reflection on Industry Analysis
I aspire to work as a Counsellor Psychologist when I graduated, and that is the
industry I analysed on my Assignment I Industry Analysis. I cover the topics about
the history of the industry, qualifications, values and attributes of professionals
connected in that industry, my strength and weaknesses and also, my personal
attributes and skills to be able to succeed as counsellor.
I had fear on reviewing and giving feedback with my peers, because I was also
thinking how they will assess my work, but doing it so giving feedback and looking at
the rubric as a guidelines, gives me more opportunity to learn and improve myself in
preparing my assignment in the future.

Although you provided broad references for this piece, there were several issues
with the information that was presented.
It seems you might be a little unclear about what the difference is between a
psychologist, counselor and a counseling psychologist. For example: you need to
complete be a registered psychologist to work as a school counselor. You also
needed to discuss professional attributes relevant to your career goals, for example:
if you plan on working as a school counselor/relationship therapist you needed to
discuss the specific professional attributes of a clinical psychologist working in these
areas. Also, your personal skills were vague. You clearly have several skills relevant
to this area, however, did not contrast these closely with the profession.
Check APA referencing and style guide as there were several issues each.
Also, executive summary not relevant for this type of assignment.

So what?
Reviewing the feedback they had given me, and as I read my assignment again it is
pretty clear that I really missed something, or should I say I missed a lot. And this
feedback serves as a learning process for me to improve more my critical thinking,
and research technique in providing details in each assessment.
Now what?
Giving feedback and using marking rubric is very useful in assessing the
assignment, it takes you to the right path in structuring essays, and gives you time to
think if you’ve done wrong base on the rubric. I will continue to improve my written
expression and critical thinking in analysing the given task that will help me not only
in academic prospective but also serve as my foundation in achieving my goals in
my professional career.
